Christmas Stoner DIY: Gingerbread House Bong

I'm a pretty big fan of festive food pipes, as most stoners are. They are fun to make and are a unique way to get high during the holidaze.

When I saw a gingerbread bong on Pinterest I knew I had to make myself! (Thanks to @Pretty_Lifted_ on IG for the inspiration)

Here's a video of how I put it together and a closer look at how I decorated it.

It's not rocket science but there are a few tips and tricks that will help you out.

What You'll Need

  • Gingerbread house kit (they usually come with gingerbread, some decorations and icing)

  • Knife

  • Mouth Piece (I had a glass mouthpiece to use but you could also just use a straw)

  • Downstem

  • Bowl

  • Extra icing that isn't liquidy, I grabbed a tub of whipped icing from Betty Crocker

How to Make a Gingerbread House Bong

Optional:

  • More candy/chocolate to decorate with

  • Food Coloring (to dye the icing differen colors)

Step One

Assemble the walls of your gingerbread house. You'll want to make sure you use enough icing that there aren't any cracks in the seams. You need a good airtight seal for this to work.

Step Two

Make the holes in your roof with your knife for your mouthpiece and down stem. You can choose any spot on the roof, I just went for the middle.

Be careful that your holes aren't too big, you want a snug fit.

Step Three

Insert mouth piece and downstem into roof, use icing to seal up around the hole that you made on the front and back of the gingerbread roof.

Step Four

Attach the roof to the walls, once again make sure you use lots of icing so there aren't any gaps

FYI - I waited for the icing holding up the walls to harden before putting my roof on, it helped my gingerbread house stay together.

Step Five

Now wait for the icing on the roof to harden, you might need some sort of object to keep the roof in place.

Your gingerbread house pipe should look something like this.

Step Six

Decorate the exterior of your house. Most kits come with a bit of candy but I bought some extra like M&Ms, KitKats, chocolate drops. You can also look on Pinterest for inspriation on how to decorate your gingerbread house.

Step Seven

Time to hotbox the house!
