How the Levo C Works

STEP ONE: Decarb inside the LĒVO C

As I quickly mentioned earlier you can decarboxylate your cannabis within the Levo C!!!

What a game changer, having to do this step in my oven which is such a pain in the a** because surprisingly an oven doesn’t keep a very consistent temperature.

Decarboxylation is SUCH an important step in making potent cannabis infusions so you want good temperature control which the LĒVO C provides.

Just grind up your cannabis coarsely (up to 1 ounce), like the size of small peas, and place it in the pod with the lid, then touch the “Activate” button that will perfectly heat up your cannabis to a default setting of 240° F for 45 mins-90 mins. Run it once for 45 min for a half-ounce pod, and run it a second time for a full ounce, stirring in between cycles. It’s that easy!

Again, if you’re doing a full ounce of Cannabis (28 Grams) it is recommended by LĒVO that you stir your cannabis up and run it for a second decarb cycle to ensure everything is fully decarboxylated.

Step Two: Add your Oil or Butter

Before putting your oil or butter in your machine, place the magnetic stirrer into the bottom of the LĒVO C basin in the center. Then just add your base inside the glass vessel. It can hold up to 1 L or just over 4 cups of butter or oil and as little as 2 cups. As long as your herb is covered by the liquid, you’re good to go. Otherwise any herb that’s not submerged could burn.

Fun Fact: The stirring piece spins using magnets and just sticks to the bottom of the vessel when it’s placed on the base just like machines used in chemistry labs.

This is such an efficient feature because it helps gently and constantly mix up with oil or butter with the cannabis but it doesn’t over agitate the cannabis and cause excess chlorophyll to be released that causes the dirty grass taste you can get in edibles - yuck. It’s also not adding air bubbles to the infusion, which gives it a longer shelf life and better taste.

STEP THREE: Set it and forget it

The front of the base has a touch screen where you can program the time and temperature of your infusion but it does default to 150 for 2 hours.

Other machines on the market do not have this level of control but with the LĒVO can control down to the minute of how long you want your infusion to be and the exact temperature for better potency control.

There are some infusion machines and crock pots out there that are so simplified that you don’t even know how long it’ll infuse for or how hot the oil is getting! Being able to control the time and temperature is a really important feature so you’re not left guessing.

All you have to do is set your time and temperature and you can walk away or hangout by the machine and watch it in action through the clear vessel.

Step FOUR: Remove PoD and Pour into Molds

When the cycle is done the machine will alert you and you can remove the pod from the infusion and then use it right away or pour it into freezer/fridge molds or containers until you’re ready to use it.

STEP FIVE: CLEAN UP

Empty the pod of the cannabis and place all the infusion parts in your dish washer’s top rack. Remember you can save the leftover cannabis and grind it into brownies, cookies, or any recipe because it has nutritional value and leftover potency - don’t trash it!
