Hey Stoners! Let's craft!!

I don't know about you but I'm pretty bored of plain Bic lighters. It's even hard to find one with the plastic printed sleeve that speaks to my soul.

So I was like fuck it, I'm going to decorate my own lighter (and hope no one steals it) Now I'm going to teach you what I've learned so you can do it too!

Basically all you need is:

1. a STRONG Glue that dries clear (I used E-6000 glue, it stinks, I get high off the fumes.. but it works VERY well)

2. Obviously a lighter (or many because decorating them is super fun)

As a side note did you know you can buy Bic lighters in BULK on Amazon? That's pretty freaking awesome, you can never have too many lighters

3. Stuff to glue to the lighter (...obviously)

You can glue pretty much anything plastic, resin, glass or other organic matter to a lighter BUT

it is important that it has a flat back so there's more surface area for the glue to adhere to the rhinestone (or whatever) and the lighter.

AND the item needs to be small (so it will fit nicely on your lighter)

There are a million and one different styles of "flatback cabochons" that can be used. You can find them on Amazon, Etsy and at any craft store or dollar store.

I picked up some plastic flatback cabochon rhinestones as a bulk pack from the Dollar Store.

Here's some links to items you can glue to a lighter to help give you some ideas:

Resin Flatback Cabochon (comes in a variety of shapes lots are Kawaii style)
Crystal Cabochons
Flatback Pearl Cabochons

The long and short of it is you use your E-6000 glue to attach your flatback cabochons to your lighter.

Here's a few different lighters that I've decorated so far.

I'll keep making them because let's face it my stoney friends are going to keep stealing them or I'm just going to loose them..
